The city of Al Ain is a green city, a refreshing oasis in the midst of the harsh Arabian desert. Multiple date palm farms are scattered throughout the city. Plumerias, banana trees, mango trees, jasmine vines, and many other beautiful plants adorn Al Ain. Outside the city, more rugged trees and plants are able to thrive despite the lack of rainfall. These paintings are a few studies of Al Ain vegetation, both inside and outside the city.
