This mural project was completed in 2009, in a church in Sterling Heights, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. The nursery area was split into three main sections: newborn, infant, and toddler areas. The newborn area was to be a heavenly theme, the infant area was to be a creation theme, and the toddler area a Noah’s-Ark theme. The outside of the toddler area was designed like the outside of the Ark, where the animals are filing in. Once you enter the room, you see the door of the ark from the inside and all the animals entering the ark.
