The city of Al Ain is a green city, a refreshing oasis in the midst of the harsh Arabian desert. Multiple date palm farms are scattered throughout the city, full of countless dates of all kinds. Plumerias, banana trees, mango trees, jasmine vines, and many other plants adorn the oasis city. And yet outside the city, certain more durable trees and plants are able to thrive despite the lack of rainfall. These paintings are a few studies of Al Ain vegetation, both inside and outside the city.
